Updates: Autumn Bookings and Other Schtuff

Quick update: there are only a couple of sessions still available for October, if you are interested please contact 815.603.8450 asap to reserve the available sessions. I have made my availability more accessible during this month and I have only these few dates left for booking. If you are interested in spectacular autumn colors as the backdrop of your session, I suggest a forest Marmalade Location session. This is where the bulk of sessions took place last fall, due to the simple fact…forest = leaves changing. In the fall, the colors there are amazing! Just last night I took a bike ride through the forest and the awesome white flowers are totally in bloom (usually they aren’t flowering until October)!! (you can see what the forest looked like this September by scrolling down and seeing several images from a session that is in proofing right now if you’d like). There are still dates available in November, the cut off for Holiday Cards and Gifts is November 11.

You may access the updated newsletter for Fall 2007 here. I have some news in there regarding introductory in studio (no outdoor stuff!) offerings for a limited number of sessions. These sessions will allow for one outfit change and about an hour’s time. Very exciting stuff. I promise though, these will not be your typical studio photographs!! The plan is vintage, funky, somewhat modern, not typical but always fun! Great for newborns, not quite running toddlers, preschoolers and older kids. Also on the horizon are senior sessions (high school seniors…NOT the geriatric type!) and teen sessions. I am very VERY excited about these new dimensions to the Marma-offerings!

Marmalade’s Girl #1

So I promised, so I will deliver. Thanks to Debbie and her family for coming out for a forest session several weeks ago. They just are starting the process for image previews….Debbie emailed me this morning, loving her images. Debbie, I hope you don’t mind if I share a snippet of your email here:

Hi,
All I can say is that Mark and I were speechless when we saw the pictures. Beautiful image after beautiful image. Thank you!

Thank you for making my day! Here’s a couple of the images from their forest session, again a thanks to them for driving out from Lake County (IL) for our session together:

Thanks for stopping in!

Next Client Q&A will be in the next week or so with Lora (mom of the three adorable triplets partly featured on the slideshow locations area). We’ll be Q&Aing her on her topic of specialty: speech therapy. Her focus is on autism and speech apraxia. As a bonus, Lora was kind enough to snap photos of her gallery of Marmalade images from this spring (I rec’d the images yesterday…THANK YOU, they look gorgeous and I cannot wait to show them off to everyone!)

Til we meet again!

xoxo, Mare
