If I could just title this entry with !!!!! tons of exclamation points I would !!!!!!
My professional photography friends understand what a complete honor this is and I by no means am taking any of this moment for granted. I am incredibly humbled, excited, honored, pleased, thrilled, overwhelmed, overjoyed, and every other emotion I can think of about this news. So bear with the giggling freak that I am and please join in my excitement at this news:
The article is in print only currently but here are shots of the magazine. (and in a clichéd statement uttered by EVERY portrait photographer when they are forced to photograph a non-moving object I will state: “I am not a product photographer, please bear with me.” 🙂 )
I was stunned when I got the news that *my* work was going to be on the cover of Rangefinder. I am honestly humbled beyond words that the editors believed in my work enough to place it on the cover. HUGE. Huge news. I want to take this opportunity to thank all my clients for their support and my blog readers for their interest but mostly to my family-because without family there would be no Marmalade.
Now please excuse me so I can continue running around being a freak about this amazing leg in my life’s journey.
Peace.
That one of your girls is one of the images that made me fall in love with you the first time I laid eyes on your work. STILL sad the spot is no more. A little piece of heaven it was. I am so proud and happy for you. I continue to look up to you and feel inspired by your essence. You are a gem!!!!
Leila, you too are a gem and I thank you so much for thinking so highly of me and my work. I truly appreciate your words and have loved getting to know you since the workshop and on “that” social network. You are such an amazing lady as well.
Congratulations!!! I can imagine your excitement, that is an incredible honor and amazing opportunity. <3
Hi! I found my way to your site and blog through Rangefinder and I had to blog about you! Congrats! Your work deserves it!
Congrats! I just received my issue today. So well deserved. I am always in awe of all of your images. Mary Anne (your mentee from last Sept)
