I believe that the best gifts are gifts that have longevity, having potential to last a lifetime. For instance, I was not at all offended to receive my KitchenAid mixer as a gift circa 1995-96, to me that was a gift that had meaning – it was purchased to help create memories with my someday children – baking with them and for them. Holiday baking memories have been made with the KitchenAid and the help of two sets of little hands and myself.
So when a husband buys a mom the gift of fine portraiture for Mom’s Day (like in this instance), instantly the man in question wins rockstar status. I mean…seriously…what greater gift to give to his gorgeous wife then the gift of memories with their first child who is just turning one years old? Rockstar status…I tell you. Bill you get props for thinking ahead and I know Kara has expressed to me the joy she had to receive a photography session for her Mother’s Day gift!!
Thanks to you both and the adorable little B for hanging out with me this past weekend. We nearly DID melt amongst the heat – thank goodness for all the fountains in the city! 🙂 I enjoyed hanging out with your family and I hope that these sneak peeks make you happy.
Oh…and little B…HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL BABY! You are a fun sweetie pie and I’m so happy to have met you and hope to watch you grow. Now on with the sneak peek!
Tutu cute? Tutu right!
Thank you for stopping by!
