Elmhurst Family Photographer @ the Waterfall + Stuff To Do in Chicago

I first met Andrew and his p’s a few years back, they came to have a Marmalade Location session one early morning in the fall of ’06 (I cannot believe it’s been 3 years!)…back then (as now) Andrew was Mr. Explorer and his mom & dad rocked my world because they were so in tune & in love with nature.  I adored getting to know them.  It was a great time…

Now imagine my excitement when they booked a session at the waterfall for their family photos this year.   It’s fair to say that I think everyone had a fun time.  I like to think of sessions at the waterfall as mostly a fun experience where a camera happens to be present!  I think Andrew & his dad agree.  Thanks Beth for trusting me with this time in your lives – our guy is growing so fast!  I can hardly believe he’s an almost 6 year old!  And John, I agree – most painless photography session EVER!! 🙂

Look @ the glorious light surrounding them.  I hart this spot for family (fun) photos, especially with boy families.

That waterfall image is just amazing, it has to be huge on their wall for sure. I love how the fun just jumps out of the image of the boy looking between the parents arms, haha. What personality.
