CHICAGO BABY PHOTOGRAPHY
Marmalade Photography understands how quickly babies grow up! They go through so many milestones in their first 18 months. MP fine art photography and lifestyle photography photo sessions are a superb way to create gorgeous milestone moments. MP loves photographing babies as young as a few days old, however we do so love to photograph babies around 3 1/2 months when they start holding up their heads and interacting with the world a bit. At six months as babies begin to sit up and begin to crawl a bit on their own is another terrific milestone to capture as is 9-12 months when baby begins to walk on their own.
Baby photography continues to be fun to capture for parents and loved ones alike well into age 2 when the toddler stage starts giving way to preschool age. There is no wrong or right time to photograph your baby. There is never a “wrong” time to photograph today.
CHICAGO CHILDREN’S PHOTOGRAPHY
Marianne has been photographing families for over a dozen years in and around Chicago and the surrounding areas. We have photographed children in urban settings in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast. We have photographed children on Michigan Avenue. MP has photographed children and families at Oak Street Beach. MP has also explored not only the cityscape and the beauty of Lincoln Park but all the nooks and crannies in between, including many locations you wouldn’t dream of making work for a children’s photo. The beauty of commissioning a professional photographer with years of experience is that he/she has seen it all and has dealt with a variety of lighting situations, posing angles and situation specific instances. We have photographed children with special needs and feel very comfortable offering our services to families who may have a special needs circumstance. We believe that each and every child deserves to be photographed and the best way to achieve that is with a photographer who understands child development and how to communicate best with kids.
CHICAGO TWEEN, TEEN AND HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHY
Tweens and teens are not just children that have grown up too quickly, eat too much of your food and have social lives that boggle the imagination. They are unique individuals growing up into beautiful young adults, these stages deserve to be photographed by someone who cherishes these pre-adult stages and understands the complexities associated with being (and parenting!) this age. Marianne adores these stages in a young person’s life and as challenging as it can be to parent a child during these years they will fly by and you will all too soon miss the beauty of the chaos of these ages.
High school seniors are prepping to embark on the biggest change in their young lives. High school senior photography is special and deserves to be memorialized in a very special way. In just a year your life and your child’s life will be so very different: capture it now while it is still happening. We photograph seniors the summer prior and well into their senior year. Some seniors wait until spring before graduation to be photographed and others are photographed the spring of their junior year. There is no wrong time to be photographed by Marmalade Photography and we understand the busy-ness and complex lives seniors lead. We would be honored to capture some of this time for you to hold onto forever.
