Marmalade Photography specializes in outdoor children’s photography – we can’t wait until it warms up!! Chicago Daily Kids mentioned the Mommy & Me 2011 sessions for Marmalade Photography on their blog yesterday.
Simply movement and focus contributed to the mood and feeling of this image taken last summer on the I&M Canal in Channahon, Illinois. Marianne is a children’s photographer serving Chicagoland families since 2005.
Mother’s Day 2011 Mommy and Me sessions are being held again at the studio for Chicago’s own Marmalade Photography. Sessions highlight the beautiful mother-child relationship and are meant to be a gift for mothers and their children for Mother’s Day.

The focus of this blog entry is a handsome four-year old boy. I photographed him playing around and being silly. My favorite sessions are those that capture the true spirit of the child, I think we did good here.
