The Garden Revisited : Joliet Child Photographer
Archive Post
This post is part of the Marmalade Photography archive. We sincerely apologize - some images from our pre-2011 content were lost during a site migration and we have been unable to recover them. The writing and memories remain, and we are grateful you found your way here.
Soundrack…my husband bought me this 2 disc album the other day by Adele….this is one of my favorites from the album (there are many)…her voice is so beautiful.
So, getting down to business. It is sneak peek time…
G is a little girl who I’ve watched grow over the past three years. I adore her sweet smile, her beautiful personality and am getting a sense of who she is becoming. The hardest part (and also the funnest part) is watching littler ones grow up in front of me from year to year. I find it bittersweet to see this coming of age (for lack of a better term) growth in my subjects.
Regardless of my own feelings of the ridiculously fast nature of the passage of time I found G to be extremely giggly and fun to be around. What a treasure she is!! A big thank you to Victoria and G for coming out for a mixed session. We did some indoor stuff in studio and ran out to the Garden for the rest of our time together. Dare I say G had a blast exploring at the garden? Yes, I do dare say so…

and for giggles 🙂 one from our very first session together, 2006:

Thanks for checking in…Namaste.
