{"id":419,"date":"2007-10-22T00:48:18","date_gmt":"2007-10-22T06:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog\/?p=419"},"modified":"2007-10-22T00:48:18","modified_gmt":"2007-10-22T06:48:18","slug":"beyond-gorgeous-october-afternoon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog\/beyond-gorgeous-october-afternoon\/","title":{"rendered":"Beyond Gorgeous October Afternoon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had the great pleasure of photographing KC and his parents Sunday afternoon.\u00c2\u00a0 It was a sort of mini blast from the past\/small world thing (as seems to be happening much these days).\u00c2\u00a0 I grew up in the same neighborhood as KC&#8217;s dad and his mom and I led sort of parallel lives with regard to people and places.\u00c2\u00a0 Funny how small the world really is.<\/p>\n<p>Small world things set aside, we couldn&#8217;t have ordered up a more wonderful fall afternoon.\u00c2\u00a0 The leaves falling, the colors just starting to change (we&#8217;ll disregard the heavy gusts of wind because on an 80 degree October day, a little wind never hurt anyone!).\u00c2\u00a0 The waterfall was magnificent yesterday and I believe part of it was the company I kept through the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>So this is what you get when you have a good looking boy, two wonderfully doting parents and a lovable pup by the name of Dixie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog-new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/252-copy.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[pics-1193035018]\" title=\"Feeling\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog-new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/252-copy.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Feeling\" class=\"imageframe imgaligncenter\" height=\"300\" width=\"416\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog-new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/22210x20.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[pics-1193035018]\" title=\"Family Shot :)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog-new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/22210x20.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Family Shot :)\" class=\"imageframe imgaligncenter\" height=\"249\" width=\"416\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog-new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/292bordered.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[pics-1193035018]\" title=\"A Favorite\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marmaladephotography.com\/blog-new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/292bordered.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"A Favorite\" class=\"imageframe imgaligncenter\" height=\"416\" width=\"293\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\">I had a WONDERFUL time seeing you and finally meeting you all today.\u00c2\u00a0 A big thanks to KC and the gang, I hope you had a blast.\u00c2\u00a0 I also hope you enjoyed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polk-a-dot.com\/index.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Polk-a-Dot<\/a> (and of course, wonderful Ben Franklin!!
