The mountain view from way up high<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I took this featured image on my flight to Las Vegas this past February to the yearly WPPI convention.\u00a0 As I posted here <\/a>– I was overwhelmed with a rush of mixed feelings fueled by the adrenaline.\u00a0 The anticipation and other undefinable emotions that all add up to excitement was fueling my energy that whole day, what an interesting few days in my life!\u00a0 The start of a strong year professionally\u2026<\/p>\n

Fast forward to today.\u00a0 Downloading the images off my camera on to my computer’s hard drive, I came across this shot.\u00a0 To be honest I really don’t remember snapping it (what can I say\u2026I was a frenzy of nervous energy AND I had been up since o’dark thirty to fly out early that day!) – but I am totally in love with it.\u00a0 Something about the mountaintops from this vantage point feels surreal and insightful (in a weird way).<\/p>\n

I remember long ago hearing a quote and it has always stuck with me.\u00a0 It has been attributed to Leonardo DaVinci but the research indicates it was not him that shared this knowledge and attributing it to him is a misquote.\u00a0 Regardless it speaks truth, I cannot help but always cast my eyes upward.\u00a0 Does not matter how many times I fly – every time I do there is some exciting reason for it and every flying experience is a new experience for me.<\/p>\n
