Rangefinder Magazine – Cover feature and article “We Are Family” (August 2011). My Chicago family photography work represented family and children’s photography in both the magazine (and the WPPI 2011 Convention Show Guide mentioned below).

National Geographic Traveler – Photo feature (January 2011). Travel photography from Charleston, South Carolina was selected for publication in this premier travel photography magazine.

Teaching & Education
Professional Child Photographer – Founded in 2007 – and with a massive overhaul and addition of numerous new resources in 2025 – this educational platform serves families, in Chicago and nationwide. Use this site, as a client, to find answers to questions regarding hiring a qualified photographer with the dual purpose of assisting photographers build sustainable family photography businesses. Marianne is the primary author of the site’s comprehensive evaluation tools, business resources, and industry critique and has plans to expand on offerings in the near future.
Professional Photographers of America (PPA) – Presented webinar “Photographing and Interacting with Children of All Ages” (2012), educating photographers on child psychology and session management, featuring imagery from family photography sessions.
