So funny–freestyle blogging regarding “meetings”

I am honestly most thankful that now, having been out of the world of nursing for a year and a half, I do not have to attend anymore mandatory meetings.  DH and I were discussing the infamous Dave Barry quote:

If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race
has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word
would be "meetings."

Which always amused me.   The hospital that he and I both worked LOVED the mandatory meeting / focus group concept.  There of course is nothing wrong with meetings but often they felt like nothing got accomplished.  I do NOT miss the mandatory meeting.
