Chicago Children’s Photographer (plus some Baby Loves Disco Chicago stuff!)

Still playing catch up on the sneak peeks – just a few more and I’ll be all caught up!!  🙂

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the K Family.  They came out to the Marmalade studio for a nature session and we had a beautiful time.  The grasses were still green and the flowers were blooming in full force all September style (I will not wax poetic about September light altho I really want to!). 

I loved meeting S and her little sweet attitude, great style and beautiful smile. Thank you K Family for allowing me to capture these moments for you.

I have yet to meet a child who doesn’t love sticks.  Seriously-I don’t quite know what that’s about!

YAY!  I have the prettiest clothes in the land!!

Baby Loves Disco was this past weekend at the Metro on Clark Street in Chicago’s Wrigleyville. It was a *blast*!  There was a dance contest sponsored by H&M and lots of activities galore.  If you’ve never been to Baby Loves Disco before it is such a cool thing.  First take a nightclub, clean it up to be kid friendly, open it up on a weekend day and have parents and their little ones come dance the afternoon away.  There’s healthy snacks and activities galore.  It really is THE place to be for rocker chicks & dudes everywhere.  DJ Bald Eagle did an amazing job as always and Sweet & Sassy prettified all the pretty ladies (and gave some very cool dudes some very cool mohawks!)  Here’s a taste of what went on:

One of the dance contest winners is pictured here.   The little girl in the Bears outfit danced her heart out to win.

There was *the* most amazing face painter there (I wish I had her info to link for everyone but I don’t just yet)

Believe me, I saw her kicking it up on the dancefloor, don’t let the coy camera pose fool you!

Sweet & Sassy just rocks.  They do an amazing job every time!!  I love this little girls’ expression: "Are we done yet?  I’m ready to show my beauty off!"
