I’ve been told that I’m honest to a fault, in this case I can honestly attest that I fell in love with these kids.  They really rocked my world!!  Fun, silly, sassy, goofy, smart, loving … all rolled into one.

Chloe is a beautiful girl, she loves to dance, read and watch silly movies.  Gavin is really into music, no stranger to Green Day and The Beastie Boys (by the way it made me excited to hear the Beastie Boys are still really considered cool! Brass Monkey anyone?).  He likes to be goofy and funny but has a really serious side as well.  Fun fun kids!

Thanks to their mom for bringing them out last week…here’s a taste of what’s to come!  Thanks guys, loved meeting & working with you!

I sort of have the Beastie Boys segueway for this next little blurb: go see the Tamra Davis Cooking Show (Mike D’s wife from The Beasties).   It’s a really great blog/show about healthy eating for kids & families.  I think you’ll like it.  I love her straight up simple no frills approach to healthy eating plus I totally dig most of the music featured in her show segments.  Enjoy! 🙂

That sibling shot is to die for. They look so relaxed and happy, just perfect. In fact, all of the images are like that, just wonderful.

  • PamN - November 2, 2009 - 9:16 am

Their mother has to be beyond thrilled! I would be so happy & proud if these were my kids – look at how beautiful these images are!

This session was great fun!  Three kids, four outfits and a whole bunch of images.  E, A & E rocked this session.  I was so impressed with the amount of fun we had in the short amount of time we were together.  They rocked this session.  Annie – I think you are going to LOVE what we got.  You have three amazing kids-thank you for entrusting me with building your families’ memories for you!

R and his mom Debi came out to the studio earlier this week for a bit of the Marmalade Urban session.  R was a fantastic model!  The occasions when I have willing (and STILL!) subjects to photograph…gosh I don’t know what to do with myself!

Thank you R for being awesomely fun to photograph and letting me do all my random location spotting.  You rocked it!  Here’s your sneak peek…

    one cool kid huh?

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful family, the S Family.  A big huge thanks to a Marmalade Favorite who referred me to the S Family for a fall Marmalade Location session.

I just need to say this … Ken & Kim, you have beautiful children, so kind and well mannered, it was an honor to photograph your family at this time in your lives.  I had a blast at your session, your images rock!  Here’s a little sneak peek!

I’m a sucker for the one person looking at me from a group kind of shot.  This makes me smile. 🙂

More sneak peeks coming up in the next few.  It’s the big reschedule week this week.  Still booking several Fall dates with guaranteed Holiday delivery.

Oh wow super gorgeous as always !! … what a treasure

  • Sherri W - October 23, 2009 - 4:54 am

Oh wow. That first shot of their son is gorgeous. The family shot above should be purchased huge. It’s really a great memory/testimony/treasure (you pick) to have. I love that not every family has to have a shot of them all looking. They can have that too, but the family shot above is just something I’d love to have myself.

  • Brandy - October 25, 2009 - 11:01 am

Gorgeous family, I absolutely love their outfits!

Earlier this past week (before all the rescheduling craziness that has taken over my business life due to unseasonably rainy & cold weather!) I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful G Family.  I feel bad as I am a few days behind in sneak peeking these-so Lindsay these are for you!  Thank you for allowing me to photograph your handsome C and for coming out for a Marmalade session in the forest!  Here’s just a little taste of what’s to come! 🙂
