I am almost giddy. No joke. Of course this time of year is somewhat bittersweet, the kids go back to school next week and that means they are another year older…and the reality of time passing on so quickly with them as they race towards growing up. September and back 2 school is sentimental for me but yet I am so very excited–on the professional and artsy front!
Some of my clients may attest to this (since I seem to babble on and on about September during sessions) next month is my most favoritest time to take outdoor photographs. I know, I know, October *can* be amazing but the heat of summer is winding down in September and the incredible things that happen with light in late afternoon during this month. And to boot the forest is attacked (in a good sense!) by these amazing yellow blooms, which in October turn white and in November go to seed and “fuzz” up…(fwiw, November tends to be an amazing month for photographing outdoors as well).
Luckily for you there are still several regular session times available for September, still time to get the deep rich greens from the end of summer and start feeling the oncoming autumn cooler air. The best of all worlds…ahhhh…September. Imagine the beauty of your child bathing in the warm early evening sunset captured forevermore in a beautiful piece of wall art hung on your wall.
